‘Not Tools and Methodologies’

There is a myriad of Tools and Methodologies in the marketplace, over the past 20 years we have pretty much worked with them all. We have the view that Controlling and Managing Programmes and Projects is more of an Art than a Science, to this end we believe Processes and Tools should be used to with Prudence, there is no point implementing and supporting a full blown Methodology if it ends up doubling the size of the Project Team and ergo the cost.

The same is true for Tools there is little point implementing a full blown version of MS Project Enterprise Server, if you do not have the expertise, resource and budget to understand and deploy it, you will simply end up with another project on your hands and end up delaying the one you are expecting the tool to deliver.
